Road to the ADAC GT Masters and the DTM

The ADAC GT4 Germany is aimed at young drivers and ambitious gentleman racers and serves as a springboard to the ADAC GT Masters and the DTM. The series competes exclusively in the high-profile Supporting programme of the DTM. A major focus of the ADAC GT4 Germany is on young motorsport talent. The ‘Road to DTM’ programme is designed to help successful drivers make the step up to the next category.

Drivers who have been awarded a silver or bronze rating by the FIA, the world motorsport governing body, are eligible to compete. Two races lasting around one hour are held each weekend. Two drivers share the cockpit. A driver change takes place halfway through the race. A vehicle classification system (Balance of Performance) ensures equal opportunities between the different vehicle concepts. The ADAC GT4 Germany is broadcast live on SPORT1 on free-to-air television and shown live or re-live in over 90 territories worldwide.
