Linus Hahne set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the ADAC GT4 Germany weekend at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Cars from three manufacturers occupied the top four positions.
The third race weekend of the 2026 ADAC GT4 Germany season is up and running: on Friday morning, Motorsport Arena Oschersleben hosted Free Practice 1 – and BMW driver Linus Hahne (22/Oelde, ME Motorsport) proved unbeatable. He took exactly 1:31.207 minutes to complete his flying lap of the 3.667-kilometre track in an M4 GT4.
“I really enjoy driving in Oschersleben. The track and the car felt good. From a driving perspective, too, everything came together on my fastest lap,” said a delighted Hahne, who shares the cockpit with Philip Wiskirchen (21/Euskirchen). “We have big hopes for the race weekend. We want to compete at the front of the field and, ideally, finish on the podium. Qualifying and the race will definitely be a totally different beast compared to free practice, but we are ready.” This was the first time that Linus Hahne had set the fastest time in his ADAC GT4 Germany career so far.
0.402 seconds slower, second place in the session went to the Ginetta G56 GT4 of Alexzander Kristiansson (26/SWE) and Erik Bertilsson (25/SWE, both KRT Racing). Bertilsson was behind the wheel for the car’s fastest lap, and topped the timing sheet for much of the session. Only with time running out did BMW driver Hahne manage to replace him in top spot.
Just 0.005 seconds back were Gabriele Piana (39/ITA) and Benjamin Sylvestersson (19/FIN, both FK Performance Motorsport) in another BMW. The duo currently lies third in the overall standings and arrives in Oschersleben with a clear goal: to regain top spot in the table. Fourth, 0.448 seconds off Hahne’s pace, were Roman Fellner-Feldegg (24/Landsberg am Lech) and Marek Böckmann (29/Lautersheim, both Prosport Racing) in a Mercedes-AMG GT4. As such, three different manufacturers ended the session in the top four, underlining just how evenly matched the field is.
Marius Schmid (18/Tengen) and Alex Connor (22/GBR, Mercedes-AMG) completed the top five at what is a home outing for their team, BWT Mücke Motorsport.
