Nürburgring: Visitor Information

The DTM kicks off the second half of the 2026 season at the Nürburgring. Here is an overview of all the important information for visitors.

Directions and parking at the Nürburgring

Visitors can park their vehicle in the designated car parks at the Nürburgring for a fee of € 12. The following directions are recommended, if travelling by car:

  • From Cologne: A1 to end of motorway

  • From Trier/Luxemburg: A48 to motorway exit Ulmen

  • From Koblenz: A61 to motorway exit Wehr

Dekra Fan Tower

Offering a unique view of the Nürburgring, the DEKRA Fan Tower welcomes all visitors. Standing roughly nine metres tall, the tower allows fans to follow the action on the track from a totally new perspective. The Dekra Fan Tower is located next to the DTM Fan Zone.

Driver of the day powered by PME Legend

All fans can vote for their personal “Driver of the Day” during both races. To take part, simply select your driver on the DTM app or website.

DTM App

The new DTM app is the perfect companion at any DTM event. The app ensures that fans at the circuit do not miss a single session on the track or autograph session. Thanks to the integrated map, visitors are also able to easily find their way around the racetrack. The app is available in the app store for iOS and Android.

DTM Classic Show Run

Experience DTM history at first hand at the Nürburgring! Legendary cars, including the BMW E30 M3, Mercedes 190E EVO II, and Audi V8, will be taking to the track for a number of demonstration laps on each day of the event. Enjoy the original sound, cult liveries, and plenty of nostalgia!

  • Friday: 13:20 to 13:40

  • Saturday: 12:05 to 12:25 and 17:20 to 17:35

  • Sunday: 09:40 to 09:55

DTM eSports Finale

A premiere for the DTM eSports Championship: for the first time, the series finale will take place on site, in front of a live audience in the RaceRoom SimRaceCafé. The competitors will first take to the track at the digital Hockenheimring from 15:00 to 18:00, before the final race is held at the virtual Nürburgring. Come and support the DTM eSports drivers, and enjoy some exciting racing!

DTM Fan Tour powered by Pirelli

Embark on a fascinating and exclusive journey behind the scenes of the DTM. Receive background information at first hand, and look forward to a special experience as you visit key areas of the paddock (e.g. tyre service, scrutineering, Parc Fermé, and many more). Prepare to be surprised and immerse yourself in the DTM from a new perspective.

DTM Kart Grand Prix

The kart track at the Nürburgring will be the scene of some real drama from 18:30 on Friday evening: DTM stars Tom Kalender, Ben Dörr and David Schumacher will take on fans, media representatives and drivers from other series. Spectators are more than welcome.

DTM Truck Go & Stop Competition

On Saturday 15th August, the DTM Truck Go & Stop Competition enters its third round. From 18:45, trucks belonging to teams from the DTM and other racing series will go head to head in a special competition on the start/finish straight in front of grandstand 3. The competition is held in a knock-out format on a 400-metre track. In the end, speed is not the only thing that counts – accurate braking is also vital: whoever stops most precisely will progress to the next round. Following last year’s premiere, the format will again provide an unusual but entertaining opportunity to see the teams behind the DTM in action.

eSports Area and Beat the Pro

Visitors can test their driving skills on the RaceRoom simulators. The simulators are free of charge and can be found in the Fan Zone. The highlight of the RaceRoom stand is “Beat the Pro” at 17:30 on Saturday evening. Here, fans go up against real DTM drivers. In the driver’s seat this time: DTM rookie Finn Wiebelhaus!

Fan Zone

The meeting point for fans: the DTM Fan Zone. Chilling and enjoying the DTM on the big screen, fun on the bouncy castle, face painting and tattoos for the kids, the BWT Water Station, the DTM Reaction Wall, the latest DTM merchandise, and Meet the Drivers: a visit to the Fan Zone is always worth its while.

Film: Need for Speed presented by CineStar

On Saturday evening at 20:00, a highlight awaits all film fans in the DTM Fan Zone: “Need for Speed” presented by CineStar at the outdoor cinema.

Meet The Drivers

On Saturday and Sunday, visitors can meet the fastest drivers in the series at a “Meet the Drivers” autograph session in the Fan Zone.

Saturday

  • 12:45 to 13:05: BMW M2 Cup

  • 14:55 to 15:15: Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland (PSCCD paddock)

  • 16:15 to 16:45: DTM

Sunday

  • 12:45 to 13:05: ADAC GT4 Germany

Pit Stop Challenge by Driver

For all those wondering how they would get on in the pit lane: the new Pit Stop Challenge by Driver in the DTM Fan Zone. Here, you are up against the clock, as you strive for the fastest possible tyre change. Plus, there are great prizes to be won. Drop in, perform, and clean up.

Pit Walk

On Saturday and Sunday, the pit lane will be open for spectators. Fans can enter the pit lane and watch the racing teams at first hand. The Pit Walk is free for all visitors.

  • Saturday: 17:45 to 18:30

  • Sunday: 11:50 to 12:35

Support programme

Packed programme: Joining the DTM at the Nürburgring will be ADAC GT4 Germany, the BMW M2 Cup, and the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.

Tickets

Tickets for the DTM at the Nürburgring are available from € 49 when purchased online at the official DTM ticket shop | ticket shop by 23:59 on Thursday 13th August. ADAC members save a further 10% when purchasing their tickets this way. From Friday, tickets are available at the standard price both online and on the gate at the Nürburgring. Admission is free for under 16s when accompanied by a paying adult.

Track Safari

Goosebumps guaranteed! Enjoy a more intense DTM experience than ever before: on the DTM Track Safari, you take to the track in a bus alongside the DTM race cars. This unique experience, for which tickets are strictly limited, allows you to see, hear and feel the sound and speed of the DTM. The bus takes you on two thrilling laps of the racetrack, while a DTM driver explains the secrets and features of the circuit. Book your limited ticket for an unforgettable DTM experience here.

Vierol Fan Box

Visit the Vierol Fan Box in garage 24. Not only can you get to know the car parts supplier, but you can also follow the races live on the pit wall like the team manager, win great prizes in the Pit Stop Challenge, and sneak a peek in the neighbouring team garage.
