ADAC GT4 Germany is ready for the 2026 season. The 2026 field assembled at the Red Bull Ring in Austria for the pre-season test: 19 cars from no fewer than six manufacturers have signed up. Joining them at selected race weekends will be a number of attractive guest starters. High-profile events with packed grandstands are guaranteed at all six venues, with a total of twelve races featuring on the DTM support programme. Spectators watching from home can also look forward to comprehensive coverage on TV station SPORT1, as well as livestreams on SPORT1.de, Joyn, ServusTV ON and the ADAC Motorsport YouTube channel. The opening round of the season takes place this coming week, 24th to 26th April, also in Spielberg. Tickets for the DTM and ADAC GT4 Germany start at € 49 and are available online at dtm.com.

The focus in ADAC GT4 Germany remains on talented youngsters. The established classifications for juniors and rookies have been retained for the coming season, while the PRO-AM competition also makes ADAC GT4 Germany an attractive proposition for gentlemen racers. Porsche boasts the largest contingent in the field, with eight cars on the 2026 grid. Last year’s Team champion, AVIA W&S Motorsport, will run four 718 Cayman GT4. Denny Berndt and Lachlan Robinson, race winners in ADAC GT4 Germany in the past, are hungry to challenge for the title. The experienced Hendrik Still lines up alongside his new partner Tim Horrell. The newcomer uses a hand-operated throttle lever to drive his Porsche, as he has been paralysed from the waist down since the age of 21. Austrian teams Wimmer Werk Motorsport and Razoon – more than Racing are also putting their faith in Porsche.

Gabriele Piana is looking to challenge at the very front again. The Italian is the only driver to have started every race so far in ADAC GT4 Germany. Piana will be driving one of three BMW M4 GT4 Evo for FK Performance Motorsport, and shares the cockpit with young Finn Benjamin Sylvestersson. ME Motorsport from Schwäbisch Gmünd also fields two BMW. Established team BWT Mücke Motorsport from Berlin remains with Mercedes-AMG. Fellow Mercedes-AMG team CV Performance X JP Motorsport returns to ADAC GT4 Germany after a year away. Prosport Racing switched manufacturer in the winter. The well-known team from the Eifel region can now also count on AMG power.

The favourites include COSY Racing by ESM, who will contest the full season with the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo in 2026. In Jan Philipp Springob and Philipp Gogollok, they have secured the services of two rapid racers. Two newcomers bring international flair to ADAC GT4 Germany. Swedish outfit KRT Racing will run a Ginetta G56 GT4 Evo for Alexzander Kristiansson and Erik Bertilsson. CRT from Belgian fields a Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2 for Lucas Cartelle and Hudson Schwartz.

This season, fans will be able to enjoy ADAC GT4 Germany through an extensive TV and streaming portfolio. There will also be comprehensive international coverage. As official Free TV Partner, SPORT1 will accompany the season. As a rule, the Sunday races will be shown live, preceded by compact highlights of the Saturday races. All races can also be seen live and free of charge at SPORT1.de, as well as on PorSiebenSat.1 super streamer Joyn and ServusTV ON. All qualifying sessions and races will also be streamed live and free of charge in German and English at youtube.com/adacmotorsports.
