ADAC GT4 Germany·5.7.2025

Pole position for Mercedes-AMG on Saturday

Enrico Förderer set the fastest time in qualifying for Saturday’s ADAC GT4 Germany race at the Norisring. Extremely close field with all four manufacturers in the top five.

Qualifying for race one of ADAC GT4 Germany at the Norisring produced some thrilling entertainment. At the end of the session, it was Enrico Förderer (18/Leuterod) from SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm who emerged triumphant with a time of 53.053 seconds. “This weekend is my very first time racing at a street circuit – I never expected it to go so well from the outset,” said a beaming Förderer, who shares the Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Jay Mo Härtling (22/Sprockhövel). “My lap was perfect. However, I had to keep an eye on the traffic. The Norisring is extremely short and there are a lot of cars on the track in ADAC GT4 Germany.”

The race weekend has gone entirely to plan so far for the pairing of Förderer and Härtling. Yesterday, Härtling secured pole position for Sunday’s race at the Norisring. “The Norisring is an impressive circuit. You are very close to the walls. That is great fun – especially as things are going very well for us at the moment from a racing perspective,” Förderer continued.

Second place in qualifying, just 0.058 seconds slower, went to the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Marek Böckmann (28/Lautersheim) and Anton Paul Abée (28/Hamburg, both Prosport Racing), with Böckmann at the wheel for this session. Denny Berndt (2ß/Berlin) and Max Rosam (20/Taunusstein, both Razoon – more than Racing) were third in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, 0.119 seconds off the pole time. Both claimed their first podium in ADAC GT4 Germany at the Norisring last year.

Fourth place, 0.133 seconds behind Förderer, went to fellow Porsche drivers Hendrik Still (37/Kempenich) and Philipp Gogollok (19/Bad Homburg, both AVIA W&S Motorsport). Rounding out the top five were Gabriele Piana (38/ITA) and Berkay Besler (25/TUR, both FK Performance Motorsport) in a BMW M4 GT4. Saturday’s ADAC GT4 Germany race at the Norisring starts at 17:45 and will be streamed live on adac.de/motorsport, ServusTV On, Joyn, sport1.de and youtube.com/adacmotorsports.
