Nürburgring: Essential Visitor Information

The DTM enters the second half of the season at the Nürburgring. Here is an overview of all the important information for visitors.

ADAC Members Lounge

All ADAC members have free access to the ADAC Members Lounge in the Fan Zone, where they can enjoy free coffee from series partner Eni, use the WiFi, or try their luck on the wheel of fortune.

Getting There and Parking at the Nürburgring

Visitors can park their vehicles in the signposted car parks for a fee of 12 euros. It is not possible to purchase or reserve parking tickets in advance. The following routes are recommended for arrival by car:

... from the direction of Cologne: A1 to the end of the motorway ... from the direction of Trier/Luxembourg: A48 to the motorway exit for Ulmen ... from the direction of Koblenz: A61 to the motorway exit for Wehr

Dekra Fan Tower

The Dekra Fan Tower offers a unique view of the Nürburgring. From the tower measuring in at approximately nine metres, spectators can follow the action on the track from a totally new perspective. The Dekra Fan Tower is right next to the DTM Fan Zone.

DTM App

The new DTM app is the perfect companion at any DTM event. The app ensures that fans at the circuit do not miss a single session on the track or autograph session. Thanks to the integrated map, visitors are also able to find their way around the racetrack easily. The app is available in the app store for iOS and Android.

DTM Classic Showrun

DTM history can be experienced up close at the Nürburgring! Legendary cars such as the BMW E30 M3, Mercedes 190E EVO II, Opel Calibra V6 4x4, and Audi TT-R will be going for a spin each day, completing several demo laps each time – they will be driven by well-known names like Harald Grohs and Volker Strycek. DTM Fan Tour Powered by Pirelli

Embark on a fascinating and exclusive journey behind the scenes of the DTM. Receive background information direct from the source and look forward to a special experience as you visit central hotspots in the paddock (e.g., tyre service, scrutineering, Parc Fermé, and many more). Prepare to be surprised and immerse yourself in the DTM from a new perspective.

DTM Truck Go & Stop Competition

The DTM Truck Go & Stop competition enters its second round on Saturday 9th August. Starting at 18:45, the tractor units of teams from the DTM and the supporting series will go head-to-head in a special competition on the start-finish straight in front of stand 3. The knockout competition will be held on a 400-metre stretch of track. It is not only speed that counts, rather it is precise braking that is key: Teams who stop exactly at the finish line will progress to the next round. After making its debut last year, the format will once again be an unusual but entertaining opportunity to see the teams behind the DTM in action.

eSports Area and Beat the Pro

Visitors can test their driving skills on the RaceRoom simulators. The simulators are free to use and can be found in the Fan Zone. The highlight at the RaceRoom stand is “Beat the Pro” at 17:30 on Saturday evening. Here, fans go up against real DTM drivers. In the driver’s seat this time is McLaren driver Ben Dörr!

Fan Zone

The meeting point for fans: the DTM Fan Zone. Chilling and enjoying the DTM on the big screen, fun on the bouncy castle, face painting and tattoos for the kids, the BWT Water Station, the DTM Reaction Wall, the latest DTM merchandise, and Meet the Drivers: a visit to the Fan Zone is always worth it.

Meet the Drivers

Pit Walk

On Saturday and Sunday, the pit lane will be open for a pit walk for spectators. Fans can enter the pit lane and watch the racing teams at first hand. The pit walk is free for all visitors.Saturday: 11:55 to 12:40 Sunday: 11:55 to 12:35

Packed programme: Joining the DTM at the Nürburgring are the ADAC GT4 Germany, the Prototype Cup Germany, the innovative NXT Gen Cup, and the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.

Summer Party at the Nürburgring: Peter Wackel Live at the DTM

On Saturday 9th August, Peter Wackel will be bringing great vibes at the Nürburgring from 18:00! The famous party hits singer and star of Mallorca will be bringing his greatest hits to the DTM and firing up the crowd in the paddock right at the Schaeffler Brand Home – top entertainment guaranteed.

Tickets

Tickets for the DTM at the Nürburgring are available from 49 euros when purchased online at tickets.dtm.com by 23:59 on Thursday 7th August. ADAC members save a further 10% when purchasing their tickets this way. From Friday, tickets are available at the standard price both online and on the gate at the Nürburgring. Admission is free for under 16s when accompanied by a paying adult.

Track Safari

A spectacular adventure: The DTM Track Safari enables fans to experience motorsport from a totally new perspective. In a separate session, spectators at the Nürburgring will take to the racetrack in buses, while the high-horsepower cars repeatedly zoom past them at close range. Tickets for this special racetrack expedition are available here.

Vierol Fan Box

Visit the Vierol Fan Box in garage 24. Not only can you get to know the car parts supplier, but you can also follow the races live on the pit wall like the team principals, win great prizes in the Pit Stop Challenge, and sneak a peek in the neighbouring team garage.
