The ADAC GT4 Germany is gearing up for its biggest highlight of the 2025 season: the ADAC series will contest its second race weekend of the year at the legendary Norisring in Nuremberg – and it promises plenty of action and excitement. With long straights and only five corners, Germany's only city circuit has a very special layout. Tickets for the Norisring are available in online advance sales from 79 euros. The ADAC GT4 Germany races will be broadcast live on Saturday from 5:45 p.m. and on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. on youtube.com/adacmotorsports as well as on Joyn, ServusTV On and sport1.de. Sky Sport Mix will broadcast the races live on television on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 p.m.

After bagging a brace of wins at the season opener in Oschersleben, Enrico Förderer (18/Leuterod) and Jay Mo Härtling (22/Sprockhövel, both SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm) arrive at the Norisring as championship leaders in the Mercedes-AMG GT4. Their biggest rivals are second-placed Hugo Sasse (21/Aschersleben) and Roman Fellner-Feldegg (23/Landsberg am Lech, both Prosport Racing) in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. Fellner-Feldegg was the surprise package in Oschersleben. Making his GT4 debut, he finished on the podium in both races and also won the Rookie classification on two occasions.

“I am really looking forward to the second race weekend. After Oschersleben, I watched almost all the ADAC GT4 Germany races again on the Internet, in order to familiarise myself even more with the series. I don’t know the Norisring yet, but have tried it out in the simulator. Despite that, I don’t really know what awaits me there. The layout looks exciting – the chicane is like the one in Oschersleben and ought to suit our Aston Martin. However, the Norisring is definitely a driver’s circuit,” says rookie Fellner-Feldegg. “My dream is to make it onto the podium again. A few international friends from Italy, the Czech Republic and Spain will be visiting at the weekend, so I obviously want to put on a great show for them.”

Local favourite Thomas Rackl (17/Berching) has the shortest journey to the Norisring. The ADAC Stiftung Sport driver shares a BMW M4 GT4 with Linus Hahne (21/Oelde, both ME Motorsport). Rackl raced in Nuremberg in 2024. “To come back after a two-month break and go straight into my home event is huge. I am very confident that we are going to have a successful race weekend. If everything comes together, the top five is the goal,” says Rackl. “The circuit is great fun and you can have some good battles. However, you must always keep one eye on the concrete walls. Roughly 45 people from my area will be coming to the Norisring. I am really looking forward to it.”

As well as the cars from Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin and BMW, the Porsche also promise to be a force to be reckoned with at the Norisring. This was evident in 2024, when the 718 Cayman GT4 claimed three podiums and one pole position. This year, the field includes no fewer than eight Porsche. Second-placed Raphael Rennhofer (18/AUT) and Emil Heyerdahl (22/NOR, both Wimmer Werk Motorsport), and the third-placed pairing of Hendrik Still (37/Kempenich) and Philipp Gogollok (19/Bad Homburg, both AVIA W&S Motorsport) are particularly hungry to do well and close the gap at the top of the table. Fellow Porsche drivers Denny Berndt (20/Berlin) and Max Rosam (20/Taunusstein, both Razoon – more than Racing), who currently lie in fourth place overall, featured on the Norisring podium in 2024 and also have grand plans for this year’s race weekend in Nuremberg.
