The SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm driver made his ADAC GT4 Germany debut in 2025 and claimed four class victories in the Rookie competition. He has been active in motorsport since 2016.
Cedric Fuchs (Holzappel) was crowned Rookie champion in the 2025 ADAC GT4 Germany season – the new competition for young racing drivers born in 2000 or later and contesting their first year in GT4 motorsport. The 19-year-old from SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm claimed a total of four class victories in a Mercedes-AMG GT4 and ended the season with a 26-point lead over the runner-up in this class. “This title means a lot to me. It is reward for the hard work this year – and for the learning process I have been through,” says Fuchs, who shared the car with Joel Mesch (21/Erkelenz).
Fuchs enjoyed a perfect start to the 2025 season. “I never thought we would be challenging for a place on the overall podium at the season opener at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. My dream was actually to finish in the top ten over the course of the year,” he recalls. Things were to get even better at the Norisring. Having been the innocent party in a spin at the start, Fuchs recovered to take victory in the Rookie competition in the Saturday race. The next Rookie triumph followed just one day later in the Sunday race. After a disappointing race weekend at the Nürburgring, the next highlight came in the form of a further two Rookie wins at the Sachsenring. The first DNF of the season did follow at the Red Bull Ring, but Fuchs was then able to wrap up the title on the Saturday at the Hockenheimring, with one race still remaining.
Fuchs caught the motorsport bug from his father, who used to be a co-driver on the rally scene. He started out in karting in 2016 and enjoyed a range of successes on the kart track. He then switched to cars in 2023, when he entered the ADAC Touring Car Junior Cup. In 2024, he won the title in this series at the wheel of a VW up! GTI. Fuchs had another very special experience in 2024: he lined up in the ADAC Rally Sprint Cup and put his faith in his father’s skills in the passenger seat. “To share the cockpit with him was a childhood dream come true,” beams Fuchs.
Away from motorsport, Cedric Fuchs has a very busy calendar. The 19-year-old is currently training to become an electrician in the field of energy and construction technology. He also holds an honorary position on the board of AMC Arzbach. Within his role at this motorsport club, he is involved as a circuit marshal and a youth trainer for the discipline of kart slalom.
It is yet to be confirmed what the 2026 season has in store for Cedric Fuchs. “We are still in the planning phase at the moment, but will be trying to start in ADAC GT4 Germany again,” says Fuchs. “My wish is to follow in the footsteps of champions Enrico Förderer and Jay Mo Härtling.”
