New Family Day and many fan highlights

MotoGP Family Day makes its debut – Free admission for everyone. Simson moped in MotoGP design to be presented at rider presentation. Live music, stunt shows and strong new partners in the paddock.

From 10th to 12th July, the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany will again transform the Sachsenring into one of the biggest motorsport venues of the year. Even before the race itself, fans can look forward to a host of highlights at the only German round of the MotoGP world championship. Multiple premieres await, including a special offering for families and a new event area.

Kicking off proceedings in race week is the B+L Sachsenring Charity Run at 19:00 on the Wednesday (8th July), at which 750 participants will don their running shoes for a good cause. One day later, the MotoGP Family Day makes its debut: from 11:00, admission is free to the area between the main entrance and the kart hall, where visitors will find an entertaining programme, including a MotoGP simulator, bouncy castle, face painting, a big wheel, slot car racing, pocket bikes, craft stations, and a lucky wheel with amazing prizes.

Also new this year: a special event area next to the Red Bull Racing Circus. CFMOTO presentation areas with autograph sessions with riders from Moto2 team CFMOTO Aspar, and the show truck of new event partner Würth will provide plenty of entertainment away from the track. It is also worth taking a quick detour to the Bundeswehr stand at the main entrance on Goldbachstraße, where there is a special prize up for grabs. Europe's most popular racing series, the DTM, will also be present, with an original Mercedes-AMG GT3, as well as free RaceRoom racing simulators with the DTM Experience.

The big highlight of the weekend: a Simson moped from ZT-Tuning, sporting an official Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany design, is looking for a new owner. The lucky winner will receive their prize on Saturday evening, in front of the MotoGP stars at the big rider presentation in the kart hall.

Anyone wishing to get closer to their heroes will have several opportunities to do so. First up is Thursday's Pitlane Walk. A limited number of tickets for the stroll down the pit lane are still available in the ticket shop. Riders from the Moto2 and Moto3 classes will be posing for selfies and signing autographs in the kart hall during the MotoGP Hero Walk at 11:45 on the Saturday.

From 18:00 to 20:30 on Saturday evening, fans will be able to cheer on their favourite stars at the MotoGP rider presentation. The rider parade at 10:00 on Sunday morning is followed by the MotoGP Hero Walk from 10:20 to 10:40 in the kart hall.

Throughout the entire weekend, the Red Bull Racing Circus will entertain visitors with stunt shows, autograph sessions, and an exhibition of Red Bull motorcycles and race cars. The BplusL Fan Tower behind grandstand T2 will also be open all weekend.

The hot spot in the evening is the kart hall: Rockpirat will get the party started on Friday evening, before Saturday's rider presentation is followed by a musical double, with Sapid Steel and the main act, Bon Jovi tribute band BOUNCE.

Tickets are available online at adac.de/motogp, by phoning the hotline on 03723/8099111, and by E-mail to info@sachsenring-event.de. Admission to the event site is free for under 14s when accompanied by an adult.
