MotoGP Family Day on 9th July, with programme for families, kids and fans. First grandstands already sold out for MotoGP at the Sachsenring in 2026. Additional offers and VIP tickets expand the range of offers at the Grand Prix.
The countdown is on: It is now less than 100 days until MotoGP returns to the Sachsenring. The iconic circuit in Hohenstein-Ernstthal will host the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany from 10th to 12th July 2026.
This year, there is a special extra offering in store for fans: for the first time, the MotoGP Family Day will take place on the Thursday prior to the race weekend (9th July). Admission is free, and the focus is firmly on the younger fans. They can look forward to an entertaining programme, including the MotoGP Simulator, a bouncy castle, face painting, a big wheel, slot car races, balloon modelling, crafting stations, pocket bikes, and many other opportunities to join in with the fun. One special attraction on Family Day is a lucky wheel, with great prizes up for grabs. The team from “Stark für Kinder Zwickau” will also be present at the event. With the Family Day, the Sachsenring is underlining its objective to not only be a stage for elite motorsport, but also a diverse event experience for the whole family. The Family Day begins at 11:00 in the area between the main entrance and the kart hall.
Demand for tickets for the only German round of the MotoGP world championship remains high. The first grandstands have already sold out; only a few seats are still available for areas T10, T8 and T2. As well as classic grandstand tickets, the Grand Prix portfolio also includes exclusive additional offers. The Pit Lane Roof Ticket and paddock tours offer extra insights into the world of MotoGP, making the Grand Prix experience at the Sachsenring even more intense. Premium Club Tickets offer the ultimate in exclusivity: as well as the best seats in grandstand T1, with a view of the video screen and podium ceremony, guests also benefit from exclusive catering and other hospitality services throughout the race weekend.
