Fan service for the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany 2023

The LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix Germany will be one of the German sporting highlights in 2023 from 16 to 18 June. The iconic circuit near Chemnitz hosts the Grand Prix of Germany for the 25th time in a row. Here is a brief summary of the key fan information for this milestone event:

Directions and parking

MotoGP fans travelling to the Sachsenring from the south, east or north can reach the free car park P12 via the A72 motorway. There is a direct route to the car park via the Stollberg-Nord exit and the B180. Spectators coming from the west can use the Wüstenbrand exit on the A4 motorway. Route maps are available online at adac.de/motogp.

From Friday to Sunday, free shuttle buses will be running between car park P12 and the Sachsenring at regular intervals from 05:00. The special P11 car park is reached best from the A72, Stollberg-Nord exit, or via the Hohenstein-Ernstthal exit on the A4.

Camping

Camping is possible at Ankerberg (ankerberg-festival.de).

Event programme

From the new Dekra Big Wheel and the Charity Run on Wednesday, to the Red Bull racing circus, the Ankerberg Festival and events in the Kart Hall, the programme of events at the Sachsenring is as diverse and entertaining as always. You can find an overview of the whole event programme at adac.de/motogp, under the header “Off-Track Programme”. Admission to the events is free for ticket holders.

Lost property office

The lost property office is located at Wüstenbrander Straße 8, can be reached by phone on 03723/4411030, and is staffed at all times.

Info hotline

MotoGP App

The MotoGP Circuit App has been specially developed for fans at the circuit of each Grand Prix and offers all the important information about the Grand Prix. The app includes free live timing, all important dates, track info, the official programme, the most important news and much more. The MotoGP Circuit App can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

Service points

Service points have been set up at the ticket offices at car park P11 and the main entrance on Goldbachstraße for any questions regarding tickets and for purchasing tickets for wheelchair users/people with disabilities. The opening hours are Friday to Saturday from 06:00 to 18:00, and Sunday from 06:00 to 14:00.

Tickets

Tickets are available online at adac.de/motogp. Online tickets – mobile phone tickets or tickets to print at home – can be purchased up to the start of the MotoGP race on the Sunday. Tickets are still available on all days of the event. Tickets, including plastic tickets, are also available at the ticket offices at car park P11 and next to the main entrance on Goldbachstraße. The ticket offices are open during the race week, from 10:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Thursday, from 06:00 to 18:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 06:00 to 14:00 on Sunday.

Exchanging tickets for plastic tickets

Fans can exchange their paper tickets for plastic tickets, for a fee of 5 euros, at the ticket offices next to the main entrance on Goldbachstraße and at car park P11. The tickets can be exchanged between 10:00 and 18:00 on Thursday, from 06:00 to 18:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 06:00 to 14:00 on Sunday.
