DKM·2.2.2026

Online registration open for 2026

Five race weekends, including an international highlight in the Czech Republic. New class structure with OK-N and OK-N Junior categories. Clear pathway from karting to automobile racing.

Registration is open for the new season in the German Kart Championship (DKM). With five classes, the top national karting series will again offer ideal conditions for talented youngsters and ambitious drivers in 2026. Online registration for the DKM competitions is available now.

The DKM lines up with a new class structure in the coming season. The spearhead remains the top class of the German Kart Championship in the KZ2 category. Meanwhile, the second shift kart category will be run as the German Shift Kart Cup (DSKC) for the first time. The two OK-N categories are also new: the German Junior Kart Championship (DJKM) will be held for the first time in the OK-N Junior class, while the OK-N category for seniors will be known as the German Senior Kart Championship (DSKM) in the future. The German Mini Kart Championship (DMKM) enhances the series.

The number of registered drivers is limited. 36 places are available in each of the KZ2 (DKM), OK-N (DSKM), OK-N Junior (DJKM) and Mini (DMKM) classes. In the KZ2 Cup (DSKC), a maximum 54 drivers are permitted. A special regulation is in place for the OK-N Junior class: if more than 36 valid registrations are received by 15th April 2026, the starting field can be increased to 54 competitors. The registration fee for all classes is € 2,700 and includes a test day on the Friday of the race weekend.

The calendar for the 2026 season consists of five race weekends. First up, from 1st to 3rd May, is the season opener at Motorsportarena Mülsen. The series then travels across the German border to make its debut in the Czech town of Cheb. Next up are the races in Ampfing and Kerpen, before, in keeping with tradition, Wackersdorf hosts the grand finale. All information regarding registration, the different classes, and the regulations for the 2026 German Kart Championship can be found online.
