The ADAC MX Masters starts with three racing classes at the ‘Grambeker Heidering’. Nagl, Ernecker and Bauer will line up as championship leaders. Local hero Cato Nickel is hoping for top results.
Next weekend (17th/18th May) will see the second round of the ADAC MX Masters in Mölln. After a one-year break, the series returns to the Grambeker Heidering in Schleswig-Holstein with the three racing classes ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup and ADAC MX Junior Cup 125. Fans can watch the races both at the circuit and on the free live stream at adac.de/mx-masters.
In the top ADAC MX Masters class, reigning ADAC MX Masters champion Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek) will line up at the front of the championship standings. Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) and Roan Van de Moosdijk (NL/Kosak Racing Team) have proved to be Nagl's strongest rivals at the start of the season. Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) proved his strength with a start-finish victory and is the only rider so far to have beaten Nagl. Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (EST/JMT Esttrans Yamaha Keskus Racing Team), Nico Koch (D/Becker Racing), Jakub Teresak (CZ/KMP-Honda-Racing by DVAG), Jere Haavisto (FIN/GripMesser Racing Team), Mike Gwerder (CH/HTS KTM Racing Team) and Lukas Platt (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) are other strong riders in the international field. Local hero Cato Nickel (D/Bauerschmidt Husqvarna) from ADAC Hansa e.V. is also hoping for good results on the demanding surface in Mölln. The Acerbis Best Qualifier from the season opener, Mitch Evans (AU/Luke's Racing - Hertrampf Gruppe), has had to cancel his start due to injury.
In addition to the ADAC MX Masters class, the two junior classes ADAC MX Youngster Cup and ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 will also be competing in Mölln. In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, Maximilian Ernecker (A/SixtySeven Racing Team Husqvarna) and Lyonel Reichl (LIE/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) are level on points at the top of the standings. Ricardo Bauer (A/MSC Imbach MX Racing Team) is the front runner in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125. In addition to the international riders, many strong German riders will be competing in both classes and are hoping for the support of the fans. All three classes will contest three races each over the weekend. The first races for championship points will take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance race.
Fans can purchase their tickets at the box office or in advance online via the ADAC Hansa website.
