This coming weekend (9/10 August), the sixth round of the ADAC MX Masters promises several highlights in Gaildorf. All four race classes – ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 – will be competing on the traditional race track. Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek) will start as the leader in the ADAC MX Masters class at the 60th anniversary of the ‘Auf der Wacht’ motocross race. Bradley Mesters (NL/Kosak Racing Team) leads the ADAC MX Youngster Cup. Ian Ampoorter (B/F4E GasGas Junior Racing Team) leads the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125. After a break, the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 continues, with Lucas Leok (EST/KTM MX Futures) in the lead.

In the top class, the ADAC MX Masters, Max Nagl has led the championship since the start of the season, but there has been a different winner in every race so far. After a difficult weekend in Tensfeld, Nagl lost some of his lead over his closest rival Roan Van de Moosdijk (NL/Kosak Racing Team). Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) is in third place in the standings, also within reach of the top, and is keen to close the gap. Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (EST/JMT Esttrans Yamaha Keskus Racing Team) is longing for his first event victory after a very consistent season, and Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) hopes to build on his strong start to the season. Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG) is another favourite for a race win on the hard-surface track. Jere Haavisto (FIN/GripMesser Racing Team), Emil Weckmann (FIN/SHR Motorsports by Hartje), Jakub Teresak (CZ/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG) and Kevin Brumann (CH/MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing) are other top international riders. Vaclav Kovar (CZ/Becker Racing), the newly crowned European two-stroke champion, has also entered the starting line-up. From a German perspective, Nico Koch (D/Becker Racing), Cato Nickel (D/Bauerschmidt Husqvarna), Peter König (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Tim Koch (Germany/Visualz Production) and Mark Scheu (Germany/Johannes-Bikes Suzuki) are hoping for good results.

In addition to the ADAC MX Masters class, the ADAC MX Youngster Cup and the junior classes ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will also be competing in Gaildorf, promising some exciting races. The ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes will each contest three races over the weekend, while the two ADAC MX Junior Cup classes will each hold two races. The first races for championship points will take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance Race.
