Guest start at the Nürburgring with Förderer and Härtling in a Mercedes-AMG GT3. ADAC GT4 Germany champions line up together in the ADAC GT Masters for the first time. SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm is returning to the ADAC GT Masters with the Mercedes-AMG GT3. The team from Niederzissen will make a guest appearance at the Int. Shell ADAC Truck Grand Prix, which takes place at the Nürburgring from 10th to 12th July. At the wheel of the team's Mercedes will be two familiar faces: Enrico Förderer (19/Leuterod) and Jay Mo Härtling (23/Sprockhövel), reigning champions in ADAC GT4 Germany.
This will be Härtling's third outing in the ADAC's GT3 series. The 23-year-old started together with SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm at the Nürburgring and in Hockenheim in 2024, and made it onto the podium once. "I am pleased to be starting in the ADAC GT Masters again," says Härtling. "Enrico and I know each other very well and want to take this opportunity to continue our development in the Mercedes-AMG GT3. If we are able to use the car's potential and challenge for good results, it will be a successful weekend."
His team-mate Förderer, with whom he shared the SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm racing car in last season's title-winning campaign in ADAC GT4 Germany, will be making his debut - in both the ADAC GT Masters and the GT3 class in general. "The step up to a GT3 car is rather special for me. The ADAC GT Masters is an ideal platform, on which to gain experience at a high level," says Förderer, looking forward to his first outing.
SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm has made a number of guest starts since 2024, and the team contested its first full season in the ADAC GT Masters in 2025. The Niederzissen-based outfit is based just 30 kilometres from the Nürburgring and currently has two pole positions and four podiums to its name. "The guest start in the ADAC GT Masters is the ideal opportunity for us to continue to develop our two young drivers at our home race. Enrico will be given the chance to make his GT3 debut at this level, while Jay Mo already has experience of the series," says team principal Thomas Angerer. "The fact that we are able to do that against the magnificent backdrop of the Truck Grand Prix makes the weekend all the more special. We are also very grateful to our new partner Logosocke for supporting this project."
