ADAC GT Masters newcomer HGL Racing has now announced its full driver pairing for the coming season. Robin Rogalski (25/POL), who had already been revealed previously, will be joined by Simon Connor Primm (21/Großschirna) at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2.
Primm has been racing in the ADAC GT Masters for many years. His first experience of the prestigious series was a guest start at the Nürburgring in 2023, when he finished third to make it onto the podium on his debut. This was followed by a further two years in the ADAC’s GT3 series, during which time he has claimed one race win and another two podiums.
HGL Racing is one of the new teams in 2026. The team is working closely with Audi Sport Customer Racing and Seyffarth Motorsport as the operations team, and recently bought the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2 from the Verstappen.com team.
“I am very much looking forward to the coming season and expect us to consistently finish in the top five – more would obviously be nice,” says Primm. After three years with the Paul Motorsport team, the 21-year-old is excited to be taking on a new challenge. “It is a new team, a new team-mate, and a new car. So far, working with HGL Racing and Robin has gone very well. Robin is a cool guy and we communicate as equals. I have adapted very quickly to the Audi, as the basis is really similar to my previous car and only a few aerodynamic parts and fine details are different.”
Team principal Tobias Seyffarth is optimistic ahead of the coming season. The whole team at HGL Racing and the two drivers have already got to know each other and familiarise themselves with their working methods at a number of tests. “I am confident that we are very well prepared for the start of the season, and that we have a top package with regard to both the car and the drivers. In Robin and Simon, we have two strong and experienced drivers on board, who work together very professionally and in a friendly manner,” says Seyffarth.
The team’s first competitive outing will be the opening round of this season’s ADAC GT Masters, which takes place from 24th to 26th April at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Tickets for the races, which share the bill with the DTM, start at € 49 and are available at dtm.com.
