The next ADAC GT Masters event at the Nürburgring from 10th to 12th July will feature seven different manufacturers on the starting grid. Prosport Racing returns for a guest appearance in the ADAC’s GT3 series, and will line up with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the Int. Shell ADAC Truck Grand Prix. At the wheel of the car, sporting the striking Bilstein-Hella design, will be the returning Nico Hantke (22/Hürth) and Felice Jelmini (31/ITA).
Hantke was a regular in the ADAC GT Masters in the previous two seasons. One pole position, two race wins and a further two podiums helped him finish fourth overall in 2025. “I am thrilled to be returning to the ADAC GT Masters. At the same time, I am looking forward to the new cooperation with Prosport Racing, and to starting in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the first time,” said Hantke, who hails from Hürth and will be looking to impress at his home event at the Nürburgring. “It is a new challenge, but I feel well prepared. The goal for the weekend is clear: we want to compete at the front and challenge for the win.”
Lining up alongside him is a new face in the ADAC GT Masters: Italian Felice Jelmini. The 31-year-old has been crowned champion in a national one-make cup and gained a wealth of experience in GT3 racing. “A good result is obviously our goal. The championship is fiercely competitive and the standard extremely high, but the team is very well prepared. As such, it is down to us drivers to extract the most out of the package and get a strong result,” said Jelmini. “It goes without saying that we want to compete at the very front, and I am confident we have everything we need to be competitive.”
Prosport Racing contested the full season in the ADAC’s GT3 series in 2019, and have since made several guest appearances – as they are doing this year. “The return to the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring is more than just a guest start for us. It is an opportunity for us to prove ourselves as a team and through our performance in front of more than 100,000 spectators. With Nico and Felice, we have two drivers, who can exploit the full potential of our Mercedes-AMG GT3. That is exactly why we are here,” said team founder Christoph Esser.
