Rookie season for FK Performance Motorsport in the ADAC GT Masters

FK Performance Motorsport is making its ADAC GT Masters debut with a BMW M4 GT3 in 2023. In its rookie season, the team from Bremen has turned to two drivers with ADAC GT Masters experience: two-time race winner Igor Walilko is back behind the wheel. The Pole shares the cockpit of the GT3 car with Kim-Luis Schramm, runner-up in the Pirelli Junior competition in 2021. The duo will line up together for the first time on 10th June at the “Festival of Dreams” at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg.

The team, which is run by Fabian Finck and Martin Kaemena, is putting its faith in the successful Bavarian manufacturer, which currently has 18 victories in the ADAC GT Masters to its name. FK Performance Motorsport will also run a BMW M4 GT4 in ADAC GT4 Germany. “our first start in the ADAC GT Masters is a real highlight. We received our first GT3 car this year and have invested a lot of time in planning for the 2023 season over the past few months,” says team principal Fabian Finck.

FK Performance Motorsport has experienced drivers at its disposal for all six of this season’s events: Walilko won two ADAC GT Masters races in the 2021 season, at the Lausitzring and the Sachsenring. Schramm has made 56 appearances in the series and is contesting his fourth full season. “In Kim-Luis and Igor, we have found a strong pairing for the ADAC GT Masters. We are looking forward to a fair competition and an exciting season,” says Finck.

FK Performance Motorsport will be in action for the first time this weekend, as Hockenheim hosts the season-opener. TV partner Sport1 is broadcasting all twelve of the season’s races live and in full on free-to-air TV. The ADAC GT Masters will also be shown on the YouTube channel @adacmotorsports. Tickets for the “Festival of Dreams” are free and can be obtained from festival-of-dreams.de.
