Seppänen from Finland to line up for US Racing: Schumacher, speaking about his latest signing: He has shown he has got the speed.

PS on Air - The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters Talk Show which goes out online weekly had an exclusive news item for viewers this Sunday as the championship-winning team introduced their third driver in the ADAC Formula 4 - Elias Seppänen (16, Finland) is set to join Tim Tramnitz (15, Germany), who is supported by the ADAC Sports Foundation and Vlad Lomko (15, Russia) at the Kerpen based team.

Team bosses, Ralf Schumacher and Gerhard Ungar, are both already looking forward to getting down to work and are aiming to be successful with their squad. "We have already completed a few days testing with Elias, who has shown that he has the speed and is fast," said ex-Formula 1 and DTM driver Ralf Schumacher. "Also, he has integrated well into the team and gets on very well with the others, which is extremely important for good team work," he continued.

Seppänen is keen to start his first full season racing in Europe and said: "Working with US Racing is going really well. I feel very much at ease in the squad and know I can still learn a lot from this team with all their experience. Of course, I can't wait for the season to begin after this unscheduled interlude. I'm using the break to train and am also spending a lot of time on the simulator."

Seppänen got his first taste of Formula 4 in 2019 after notching up many successes in karting. He ultimately finished second in the Southeast Asia (SEA) championship in his debut year in Formula 4. He now intends to take the next step in ADAC Formula 4 with US Racing and build on the team's success; US Racing swept the board in 2018 and 2019, winning all three titles.

SPORT1 will broadcast this coming season's races as usual. You can also watch racing online as live stream at SPORT1.de, adac.de/motorsport, YouTube.com/ADAC and on the ADAC Formula 4's Facebook.
