Drugovich quickest in second practice: Title contender makes his ambitions clear once more. Title rivals Armstrong and Vips not in Top Ten

Felipe Drugovich (17, Brazil, Van Amersfoort Racing) confirmed his title ambitions once again in the second ADAC Formula 4 practice session at the Hockenheimring. Placed third in the standings, he posted best time of 1:40.135 minutes and was more than four tenths of a second quicker than immediate rival, Lirim Zendeli (17, Germany, ADAC Berlin Brandenburg eV). Frederik Vesti (15, Denmark, Van Amersfoort Racing), who had been quick earlier this morning in practice, was third. The second session this Friday afternoon was much faster than the first one had been earlier today when Fabio Scherer (18, Switzerland, US Racing) posted best time with a 1:40.946.

Marcus Armstrong (17, New Zealand, Prema Powerteam, 220 points) took 14th place. He currently heads the championship standings and is 18.5 points up on Drugovich (201.5) and 1.5 points ahead of Juri Vips (17, Estonia, Prema Powerteam, 218.5), who was marginally faster than the New Zealander in FP2, slotting into P13.

Sophia Flörsch (16, Germany, ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg eV), who became the first woman ever in ADAC Formula 4 history to finish on the podium in third place in the second race last weekend at the Sachsenring, placed fourth behind the three leading drivers, Drugovich-Zendeli-Vesti. Nicklas Nielsen (20, Denmark, US Racing), Artem Petrov (17, Russia, Van Amersfoort Racing), Kim-Luis Schramm (20, Germany, US Racing), Jonathan Aberdein (19, South Africa, Motopark), Fabio Scherer and Louis Gachot (18, GB, Van Amersfoort Racing) completed the Top Ten.
