HTP Motorsport extends its activities to junior formula racing in 2015 and enters the HTP Junior Team with two Formula 4 cars in the new German ADAC Formula 4 championship. The HTP Junior Team provides talented drivers the opportunity to make the first steps to formula cars and professional motor racing with an experienced and ambitious team.
"Our aim with the HTP Junior Team is to provide talents with the best possible support and prepare them in a optimal way for a future career in formula racing and GT or touring cars", HTP Junior Team leader Norbert Brückner and Gerhard Ungar say. Brückner as well as former HWA GmbH CEO Ungar have a long and renowned experience in working with new talents. "The fiercer the competition and the more professional the races series, the harder it gets for the driver on and off track. Our drivers benefit from working with a very experienced staff and the extensive infrastructure of the team. Our junior drivers can use all the resources of our successful GT team, like our advanced simulator."
Talents will be strongly encouraged in the HTP Junior Team. "As a next step on the racing ladder, we can offer our future Formula 4 driver test opportunities in our Bentley Continental GT3, which we enter in the 2015 ADAC GT Masters and Blancpain GT Series as official Bentley partner team." The HTP Junior Team will operate out of the new HTP Motorsport base at Limburg northwest of Frankfurt.
The new ADAC Formula 4 starts 2015 into its inaugural season and races along the ADAC GT Masters. The ADAC F4 uses chassis from Italian manufacturer Tatuus and Abarth engines. Eight events are planned with six rounds held in Germany plus rounds at Spa-Francorchamps/Belgium and Red Bull Ring/Austria. All races will be broadcasted live in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by TV- Channel SPORT1+.
